Threads of Fate
An NPC mage interested in finding respite for the lost souls of Magincia gives this quest. He is located next to the Moongate of Magincia on both facets. His exact name varies on each shard. This quest may only be completed once per character, although one character may do all the legwork gathering the threads and then trade them to other characters or players. Some of the threads stack with others, but some strangely do not.
This quest is part of the storyline for the Warriors of Destiny saga and appeared as part of the War of Shadows chapter with Publish 56.
Description
- I wish to undo the horrors that have beset Magincia but I need help. There are some souls whose burden is so great that they have become corrupted and bound by the Threads of Fate. Go to Magincia and cut the Corrupted Souls free by any means necessary, and gather the threads that they leave behind.
Objective
- Obtain: 10 Thread of Fate
Found on Corrupted Souls wandering in Magincia. Defeat them through combat. Sometimes they will drop the Thread of Fate which will appear in your pack(not looted off corpse of defeated Corrupted Souls).
Reward
- Thank you so very much. All we can offer is the rubble that was left behind in the wake of Magincia's destruction. Cherish life and be thoughtful in your actions, lest you become humbled by the threads of fate that you weave upon yourself.
