Crystal Elementals are unusual creatures made purely of the strange crystals found in Malas. They are easy to spot, as their jagged forms and bluish tone stand out against the natural greenery of their environment, the Crystal Fens. They are known to have average intelligence and strength, and their hard, crystalline body seems to afford them some resistance to magic. They are somewhat magical creatures that can deal energy-based damage, and their densely compact form can deliver quite a crushing blow.
A much stronger, non-magical version spawns in the Prism of Light and drops one of the keys to enter Shimmering Effusion. Information on this other version will be forthcoming.
