Resources

Materials used in crafting skills, each resource have a different method of gathering them.br Leather and Dragon Scales can be skinned off several types of creatures you kill (dragons, cows).br Wood can be obtained by chopping at trees with an Axe.br Metal and gems can be obtained by using a Pickaxe in mountain areas or cave floors.br Cloth gained by working the sheered wool from sheep or cotton picked from fields.br When gathering resources in Felucca, resources are doubled. Humans get a 10% bonus on gathered resources, calculated after the Felucca bonus.

Skinning

Skinning is the process of using a bladed weapon on the remains of something killed to get additional resources from it; these resources are placed inside the remains. The most common resources are

Skill is the required Tailoring Skill required to use this material in crafting. The resist bonus and other bonuses provided by the material is added to the base resists provided by the armor type.

Dragon Armor is crafted with the scales, and cannot be Enhanced in the same way as other armor. However, if you find a piece of Dragon Armor, it does not have a designated scale, and it can be enhanced.
Blue scales are from Sea Serpents.

Primary use is for Fletching to make Arrows or Bolts, but have a few other recipes in Carpentry as well.

Used with Cooking to make food a player can ear, or can be used raw to feed Pets.

Mysticism reagent.

Shields receive the same bonuses from colored ingots as armor. You require the same Blacksmithy or Tinkering skill level to work the ingots as the skill level required to Mine them.

After using the Mining for Quality Stone book, Granite can be dug up using the Context Menu from clicking on a Shovel or Pickaxe and selecting to dig it up.br It can be used to make House Addons such as furniture, walls, and doors.br It can also be used to craft Gargish Armor and Weapons with the same Item Property as using Ingots, except that it uses Masonry.

With the Find Glass-Quality Sand book, sand can be dug up using a Shovel or Pickaxe to be used for Glassblowing.

With the Mining for Quality Gems book, any type of Gem can be found while mining, except for Brilliant Amber which is found on trees and White Pearls that are found while fishing.

One of the ingredients used to make items for Cannon ammunition and High Seas ship battles.

Imbuing

These are the different materials used to imbue Item Properties onto gear using the Imbuing skill

Other

This can be crafted from a combination of 5 Ball of Yarn or Spool of Thread using a Loom, or purchased from a vendor.

Each Pile of Wool provides 3 {{Ball of Yarn|Balls of Yarn]] when used on a Spinning Wheel. Every 5 Balls of Yarn used on a Loom will make a Bolt of Cloth.

Each Bale of Cotton provides 6 Spool of Thread when used on a Spinning Wheel. Every 5 Spool of Thread used on a Loom will make a Bolt of Cloth.

These can be found in the wild, or purchased from Vendors

A special item used to make a map of Eodon using Cartography.
