Fire Steed

These golden horses are the embodiment of daemon cruelty, forced upon majestic unicorns in the bowels of the Fire Dungeon. Wild and willful creatures, these tortured beasts were driven mad by the severing of their horns and the magical fire forced into their veins. Though insane (and unable to wield their former magic as a result), they retain their intelligence and their resistance to magic. Strong and aggressive, these Fire Steeds may eventually be persuaded to serve humankind, but only by Elder tamers - or those even greater in their skill. Woe to lesser tamers who risk the steeds' fire breath! Such foolhardy individuals will soon be seeking a healer to return them to the world of the living! Though sensitive to cold, Fire Steeds are powerful allies for those who can tame their ferocious natures.
