Use Best Weapon Skill

Use Best Weapon Skill, abbreviated commonly to UBWS, is an item property that is found on certain weapons. Like many item properties, indeed most, it was first seen with the Age of Shadows expansion.

Basically, it allows you to use the so-labeled weapon as long as you have a weapon skill, regardless of what it is. For example, the artifact sword the Blade of the Righteous has this property, and thus can be used by someone with Fencing or Mace Fighting, as opposed to only Swordsmanship. As Wrestling is not a weapon skill, it does not count.

Archery is excluded from UBWS. Though some bows spawned with the item property shortly after the release of the Age of Shadows expansion, this was due to a bug, and never worked.
