Iron Beetle
An iron beetle.
Iron Beetles can be found near the entrance of the Lair of Navrey Night Eyes.
Animal Tamers must have a minimum skill of 71.1 to tame an Iron Beetle. Despite this, once the taming process is complete, any player can command or bond with one regardless of their skill level. Like Giant Beetles and Fire Beetles, they should be beaten into subjugation before being tamed. They require 4 control slots.
They can mine for ore regardless of their owner's Mining skill and also gems or stones provided that the owner has sufficient skill and already read the required skill books. They occasionally eat the ore on the ground and change their color to the color of the ore they've eaten.
